My Family

The place where life begins and love never ends

A family is a group of people mostly living together and sharing an emotional bond. There are large and small families, and they can be nuclear or extended. Families made up of a mother, a father, and their children are called nuclear families. A family consisting of mother, father, children and grandparents is called an extended family.

I live in a joint family. There are six members in my family which includes father, mother, sister, grandfather,  grandmother and me. 

We all live happily and peacefully together. My family has been always by my side in ups and downs. They have taught me how to be a better person. For me, family is the first school in my life. 

My father's name is N.A.Sisira. He is an Executive at Aitken Spence Company. He is a very kind hearted, brave, humble and an honest person. He works hard to sustain the family. 

My mother's name is Achala Kumari. She is a housewife. She look after the house and need of the family members. She is an amazing cook and takes care of what we like to eat. She’s not just a housewife. She is an entrepreneur too.

My grandparents are old and they live at home. They are my mother's parents. In my childhood they tell me interesting story daily. My grandparents are very religious

My sister is Dulari Hirunika and she is a student of Kandana De Mazenod Collage. She is in grade thirteen and she is studying hard to face the A/L examination this year. She a talented singer. She is my one and only loving sister.

My family is my role model whom I admire the most. All my family members love and respect each other. They are always ready to fulfill my need. I love and respect my family very much. And also I am very proud to be a member of this family.
