School Life

The Happiest Period of

My Life

My school days were the best of my life. I still remember the first day of school very well. My first school was Nayakakanda Primary Girls School. Its memories are still alive. I still remember how warmly I was welcomed on the first day of school. And I cried like a little baby that day.

As a child, I learned many important things from my school. Not only that, many teachers in the school loved me very much. That's why I will never forget the memories of my primary school life.

After that I attended to Wattala Good Shepherd Convent from 6th grade. I studied in that school from 6th grade to 11th grade. I think it's a beautiful time for all of us. I spent most of my school life in that school. I have learned many lessons in my life from that school. Especially discipline. As a girl I should say discipline is a must. It's like a jewel.

I studied well in that school and also participated in many  extracurricular activities such as western band, prefect guild, old  island singing competition and etc.

After I passed the O/L exam well I  attended Gampaha Rathnawali Balika Vidyalaya for the A/L studies. I gained many valuable
experiences in that school as well. As I felt it was the best girl's school in the all island.

Like I said before, I cried on the first day I entered school because I was a child, but I still don't know why I cried on the day I said goodbye to school life.

I will never forget the memories of those three schools. I love my schools forever.

Now I am an undergraduate student at the University of Visual and Performing Arts.

Finally, I would like to thank from the bottom of my heart my mother, father, grandparents and every teacher who helped me in building my personality.
